Graeme Klingner has had a varied lifestyle but it has always been somehow related to the land, whether as a station/farmhand, drover, shearer, horse breaker or cowboy. Growing up with a keen interest in horses he soon learnt that life was more fun on the back of a bucking horse than under its feet, thus starting a long association with the rodeo industry. His interest in rinding grew into a passion for bull riding, bareback bronc and saddle bronc riding and team roping. From an early age, and out of necessity, he started to make his own ropes and as a result he has over 25 years experience in plaiting bullropes, reins and belts.
It was natural for Graeme to find a career in the area that interested him most, and he became a saddler and rope maker. He worked for rodeo gear manufacturers and well known saddlers and while working for Bob Berg, Graeme's interest in plaiting grew to the point where he became the main supplier of bullropes for Bob Berg Cowboy World.
Over the years Graeme has continually striven for excellence in workmanship in his ropes and is always looking for ways to improve his product. As a result Graeme's ropes are now among the top bull ropes in the world; champion bullriders using them include Brendan Clark, Ben Jones, Jason Ahern, Eddy Fisher, Mick Gray, Brad Scott, and Steve Armitage. Graeme also supplies ropes to leading retailers of rodeo equipment.
